RDTeam Privacy Policy

Research Design Team, Inc., (a.k.a RDTeam), is an independent market research company
headquartered in Limerick, Pennsylvania, USA.
The following policy defines the commitment of RDTeam to protect the privacy of personal information
that is collected or used during the course of conducting RDTeam marketing research activities.

Notice

In the course of conducting our marketing research activities, RDTeam collects data from individuals
who have agreed to participate in research after being informed about the nature and general
objectives of the research. The purpose of our research is to provide answers and guidance to our
clients as they relate to market research related questions.

Data is often collected using marketing research surveys and interviews involving consumers, business
professionals and medical professionals. In most cases, prior to being shared with a research client, the
survey data is combined into aggregate form without any personally identifiable information. Similarly,
in most cases, information from research interviews or focus groups is combined and summarized
without any personally identifiable information being provided to our clients. RDTeam will not sell your
information to any third party for any other use.

We will collect your information when you agree to participate in a research study with us.
The information we collect may contain your personal opinions as well as personal information such as
name, address, postcode, gender, ethnicity, occupation, age, age range, email address, telephone

Audio and video recordings: this data is most often collected in the qualitative research context during
interviews or focus groups and used by research moderators and interviewers as a reference for report
writing and is not shared with research clients without explicit consent of research participants. In some
types of marketing research, we use recordings for behavioral coding. The purpose of the behavioral
coding information is to quantify and operationalize the activities that participants do when interacting
with a product or environment.

Medical information: for some surveys, interviews and/or focus groups, we may ask you to voluntarily
provide medical information that will pertain to the research being conducted. This information may be
retained in our database so we may contact you in the future for possible research study opportunities
that apply to your provided medical information.

When we contact you, we generally do so for one of the following purposes:
1. To invite you to participate in research
2. To confirm the details of research you have agreed to take part in
3. To conduct research with you
4. To validate answers/views you gave in a recent research we conducted (if you have consented
to us doing so)
5. To update and to ensure that our records of your personal information are correct (applicable to
those consenting to being part of an ongoing community or panel).

We do not collect any invisible processing of data from your computer. We will only collect and use
personal information in accordance with this policy to the extent deemed reasonably necessary to
serve our legitimate business purposes. We maintain stringent safeguards to ensure the security,
integrity, accuracy and privacy of the information you have provided.
